ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

Assistant to the Principal Designer

Put your talents to use and experience the daily {sometimes hectic, other times intense} life of a designer. This candidate must be professional, punctual, and personable. The position is part to full time and is a 1099 position. No design experience is needed, but must have exceptional computer, communication and organizational skills and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Log time and activities (per project)
  • Various administrative asks to ensure deadlines are met and on track, including but not limited to: communication with a wide range of vendors from design to delivery, i.e. specifying product, placing orders, organizing project inventory, etc.
  • Coordinate Project Furniture Invoicing & Purchase Orders
  • Facilitate order placement with vendors, workrooms and subcontractors
  • Coordinate and track shipments, keep up to date shipping manifest and manage project timelines.
  • Organize Trade Accounts/Open new accounts if necessary
  • Pick up and/or return material samples, if needed
  • Assist with sourcing items for shoots
  • Other miscellaneous errands and/or tasks, where needed
  • Must have your own vehicle

Pay: $18-20 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (to be determined)

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in entire Microsoft Office Suite
  • SketchUp, Photoshop and/or Lightroom (a plus)
  • Must have an interest in interior design and social media content creation
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while staying organized
